Thread: Jedi Guardian - Tank Build

This is the build I will be using for my Guardian. I found a lot of the skills in the defense tree are a must have, so it doesn't leave much room for anything else. I'd love to see other tanking builds though.

The bbcode is funny, but it's not entirely on our end. I was actually going to submit it to vB.org but saw someone from TORHead did it a day before I could, no biggy, at I know for a fact that I could do it correctly. I being a JK tank myself and only recently hitting lvl 21, i totally agree with this build. I have been focusing first on my defense tree as this helps survivability in these low lvl flashpoints. My dmg seems to be doing pretty good and as long as i have a couple of good DPS and a good healer, i can multiu task up to three same lvl Elites at the same time without sweating. Please keep me up to date on this as i feel the JK tanks are falling by the wayside in lue of the trooper classes.

Absolutely. They've recently patched Knights/Warriors in PvP, but STILL haven't looked at their threat in PvE (even though BW themselves agreed they are lacking).

However, these classes are somewhat of a niche, really. When doing flashpoints, I don't have much issue as long as my group plays smart, and I can already tell what my role will be in operations. Main tank. Let the trooper's / shadow's take care of the trash mobs, you will be the guy soaking up the big guys.

Adding in Dust Storm and Accuracy. It's pretty much a copy of my Juggernaut build. But with the 2 classes to be perfect mirrors, it's to be expected.
