FORUM RULES
Do Not Spam
Spam is considered to be many things, so allow me to elaborate. Posts that have 0 content such as "lol", "+1", "i agree" are considered spam. If your post contains less than a full sentence or has nothing to do with the topic, it's considered spam. If you post two+ times in a row, it's considered spam. We have an edit button for a reason.
No Flaming
Flaming is classified as insulting or attacking someone online. So dont go into someones thread and call them any obscenities. This also includes picking fights and encouraging others to flame you. Flames are not tolerated; we want to keep a nice forum atmosphere.
Use the Appropriate Forum
This is self explanitory. Try to use the RIGHT forums for your threads. We can understand mistakes but dont make a habit of it. If you have any questions, we will be more than happy to help you.
Staff Say is Final
If a staff member does something that you feel is unwarranted, take it up with them in a respectful manner via Private Messages. If your issue is still not resolved, go up the chain of command and the staff as a whole will review your case. Under no circumstance are you to flame the staff member, this is a 0 tolerance policy.
One Account Per Member
Each user may only post with one account. Please do not use multiple accounts.
Report a post!
If you see someone breaking the rules, use the report a post function. If you are not a staff member, or you do not moderate that forum, it is not your job to try and clean it up. Let us do that for you.
No Links to Porn, Warez, or Pirated Stuff
We have a 0 tolerance policy of posting about or linking to pornographic material, or anything considered illegal in the United States. If you have a link that you feel is questionable, consult a staff member before posting.
No Advertising / Promoting
Do not post your URL or website in threads / replies unless a user is specifically asking for something that your site has. If you wish to advertise your website, you may have a link in your signature. The above rules still apply to the websites you are trying to advertise. Also, if your website is considered a competing website, while you are welcome to browse our boards, I'm afraid links are not going to be permitted. To clarify, if you run a Star Wars: The Old Republic forum, feel free to use your link where appropriate. If you are running a forum based on TOR tanking, this is considered competition, and your link will be removed and an infraction will be given.
Vandalism
If you decide you no longer want to visit JediTank.com, that is fine. We wish you would stay, but can't expect everyone to. However, if you feel that all of your posts need to have their content removed, that simply cannot happen. If you wish to remove a link or some variety of personal information, that is fine, but to remove posts altogether in an effort to remove your contributions will get you instantly banned. If you remove your posts, it will make responding posts make little sense, therefor vandalizing the thread, which in turn is vandalizing the website itself.
