Black Talon is the very first flashpoint you get access to as a Sith, and while it's incredibly easy, if you aren't running a proper group makeup it does take a bit of thought.
When I ran it earlier tonight, I ran 3 Juggernauts, levels 11, 12, and 13 (me being 13). The trash is pretty straight forward, the only item of note is if you see a medic, it needs to die. Yesterday.
Now to the bosses.
GXR-5 Sabotage Droid
Quite simple fight, really, pretty much all he does is summon some droids to come down. He hits pretty hard, so if you have a healer they might actually get their hands dirty. Without a healer, just go all out on the boss and don't forget your cooldowns. He hit's pretty hard, but as long as you stick on him he's not too rough. Try your best to kite around the adds to avoid taking more damage than necessary.
GXR-7 Sabotage Droid
This boss is optional, and only pops up if you destroy all of the consoles. Once you initiate the encounter, the biggest thing your healer will want to do is pay attention to who is getting shot up with the Gatling gun. It will make it pretty obvious who is going to need healed, as the boss will focus his attention to that one particular player. As long as that's maintained, the rest is easy peasy. I've been told you can LOS the attack, but I haven't tried it so if anyone wants to verify, feel free.
Commander Ghulil
This is the first one we had too much of an issue with, simply because we didn't know what to expect. When you see this boss, he has two medics. As stated previously, you want to eliminate the medics first thing, then focus on the boss. The Commander doesn't particularly hit hard, but he does however drop little orb droids that spew fire that create a DOT on you that stacks. After a few stacks, you're pretty much toast. Good news though, the orbs are REALLY easy to avoid. If you can pay attention and stay out of the fire, you can ALMOST solo this guy.
Yadira Ban
This is another one that gave me trouble at first. She hits pretty hard period, but has one particular ability where she will slow down anyone within melee range and then do a radial Force Push, knocking everyone close enough back and dealing a pretty hefty amount of damage. Sounds rough, but luckily she screams out before she does so. So as soon as you hear her yelling that you can't win, get as far away as you can, and then charge as soon as you see she is done with her ability. She goes down pretty easily once this is figured out.
That's pretty much it for this flashpoint. There's some good loot in here too (I got a new shield, a new lightsaber, a new pair of boots, a new chest, and a new chest for Vette, really killed some rolls tonight). I'll post again once I complete my next flashpoint. Until then!
