The Esseles is the first flashpoint available to all Republic players. You can get this as early as level 10. When you are on the republic fleet, you are given the option for a priority transport to Corruscant. The flashpoint is listed as a Heroic +2, however personally I'd recommend a 3 or 4-man team. It will depend on your companions as well, I found T7 to be useless here, while Qyzen really shines.There are a few mobs that pack quite a punch, and you need a good dose of firepower.
Recommended setup: 1 tank, 1 healer, 2 dps
The mission itself is pretty straightforward, so I'm not going to spoil any of the story. Most mobs are easy to kill, and your team shouldn't have to much trouble untill the 2nd boss, Ironfist.

The first bossfight against Lieutenant Isric is pretty straightforward. He will spawn lots of adds, but they shouldn't be much of a problem.
He will use 4 skills:
- Hail Of Bolts
Instant
Range: 15m
Fires several rounds at the area. All targets in this area take damage.
- Ranged Attack
Instant
Range: 30m
A series of ranged shots for an NPC
- Spawn Adds
Instant
Range: 30m
This ability will spawn adds during the Lt. Isric fight
- Stockstrike
Instant
Range: 4m
Strikes the target with the butt of the rifle, dealing 487 kinetic damage. Standard and weak targets are knocked down for 3 seconds.
The next boss is a lot harder. Ironfist is a mandalorian Veteran. He has 4 core skills:
- Headshot
2 seconds
Range: 30m
Fires a shot at the target's head that deals heavy damage.
- Iron Curtain
Instant
Ironfist is shielded from all attacks after knocking back nearby targets. His missiles become active during this phase.
-Jet Charge
Instant
Range: 50m
Jumps to a distant target, doing light damage and knocking weaker targets back.
- Missile Salvo
Instant
Range: 60m
Fires a volley of missiles at the target area, dealing moderate kinetic damage on impact.
His missile salvo is lethal, though he will mark the area, giving you a few seconds to run away. He will also spawn adds at certain intervals, have 1 or 2 team member take them down asap or they will overwhelm your team. It's without a doubt the hardest fight in the flashpoint.
The next boss, ISS-994 Power Droid, is optional, but recommended. He doesn't put up much of a fight, and can drop excellent loot. You will need to activate 2 security consoles at the same time to enable this bossfight. Both are guarded by enemy troops, so make sure you clear both of them first before you activate one.
Right after this droid is another boss droid that can be avoided. The ISS-7 Guadrian Battledroid is somewhat harder to defeat, but also drops great stuff, so you should fight him anyway.
One of the main things you need to keep in mind for both these fights, you are fighting on a platform, and it's rather easy to fall down.. Watch your step.
The last boss is actually rather easy to beat. This is a very straightforward fight. Vokk is a sith warrior that will use 2 lightsabers, as well as Force Lighting. He will mark an area before he uses his Lightning, so if you see the circle you have a few seconds to get out, keep an eye on those and you will be fine.
Congrats, you just beat your first flashpoint.
