Thread: Faction specific flashpoints

If you look through the released information, you will find that the examples are faction specific. Do you think this will raise the chances of people playing different toons of different factions just to experience the full game? Do you think it will eliminate the problem of excessive world PvP in dungeon entrances prevalent in other games?

This idea really makes me want a character of both factions so that I can experience both sides (it helps when you are making a website teaching people how to better themselves as a tank, 'ya know ). I'm not quite so sure how much I appreciate having to go through so much content to be able to experience this portion of the game, but hopefully it will be worth it.

As for it eliminating the grief of getting the group to the flashpoint without being camped by the opposite faction, I can actually see myself camping the opposite factions flashpoint entrances hoping to pick a fight, so no, I don't see this approach helping any.

I agree, jd - it would be pretty interesting to be able to experience both sides. I think it would be worth going through the content, I think - it's a game, after all!

My only issue with this is time. Who, working a full time job and attending to their family, have time to play through a game of this magnitude twice? I can whine about it all day long but I guarantee I'll still do it just because this game looks so amazing!

You are right, jd - the average person couldn't just take that much time - unless you want to use up a few of your "sick" days, heh...

I've lost jobs in my younger years due to me doing that over MMO's, it's just not worth it
