Thread: Space Battles

So one of the more interesting features revealed (quite some time ago actually) is the ability to battle in space. From what we've seen from the videos, the battle seems to be very similar to the space battles in Freelancer, a very old, and VERY addictive space sim. What are your takes on space combat? Do you consider this to be something you would enjoy? Do you think this looks a lot better than the KoTOR/TSL space battles?

I would love to do space battles! I imagine it would be like--you or someone in your party would be flying the ship, with the other two on the guns. It seems like that would be too easy, though.

Maybe a space battle ground?

From the looks of it, it's just you piloting the ship and controlling everything, you're the only PC aboard.

I believe at some point in the future we will get more elboration on the space portion of the game with an expansion. Kind of like SWG did

I'll be anticipating any updates (as per the usual) and keep everyone posted with any new information I get. While I don't think the space battles will be even close to my favorite aspect of the game, I certainly consider it to be a fun part indeed.
