Thread: Companions - Will they help solo play?

From some of the information on companion that have been released from the official site, does anyone think they will be of great value in solo play?

I enjoy the group aspect of MMO's as much as the next guy, but I also love the solo aspect as well, and on some days have been conceived as somewhat of a lone wolf. Do you think that companions will encourage solo play? I would imagine that a little extra oomph in damage while questing by yourself will aid in making things a little easier. It's almost as easy to question how this will effect in PvP as well.

I just posted this in another post, but i think this article points toward the companions being VERY helpful indeed. Its a rundown of level 1-10 from the DH website of a jedi knight if memory serves correctly. interesting read
