Thread: Warrior / Knight rotations?

So I've been a little put off by my toon as of late, and when looking throughout the official forums I'm seeing pretty much the same thing. Incredible amount of bloat within the Warrior / Knight's toolkits. I was hoping for this to be more than just a simple QQ thread, I was hoping to inspire a bit of creativity and see what you guys consider a 'proper' dps rotation for these classes. Currently, there are about 8-9 skills in my DPS rotation alone, that doesn't even include the added abilities in my threat rotation when I'm actually tanking (remember, this is primarily a DPS thread). That's insane! I'm using 1-4, q, e, f, shift+1, and mouse buttons 2, 3, 4, and 5 just to complete a rotation, I don't even have a good idea as to where to keybind my emergency abilities! I'm not sure, as I'm not 50 yet, but does this clear up any? Something along the lines of a 5-6 button rotation so I can free up some keybinds for some key survival abilities?

Who knows, maybe I'm rushing through the game instead of looking at the mechanics and really figuring out what's absolutely important (AKA I'm bad). I love the complexity, but sheesh. Bioware stated (can't seem to remember where the source was) that this is one of the issues they'd be looking at in the near future, I'm just curious what they'd be doing. If they would just allow us to use macros I think this would solve all of our problems!

This if my Guardian at level 24.

My basic attack rotation:
- Force Leap
- If multiple enemy's: Force Sweap
- Sundering Strike
- Blade Storm (no focus cost after using Force Leap)
- Riposte (as soon as it's available)
- Sundering Strike
- Master Strike
- Force Kick

Afterwards it's a combo of Sundering Strike, Riposte, Bladestorm and Master Strike.
Off course I still have powers like Taunt, Warding Call and Saber Ward I need to trow in now and then.
At the moment, it's doable. I'm using the numeric keys for the attack powers. The rest is mouse activated.

I actually use my mouse quite a lot when using powers, I've been doing this for most mmo's and really got used to it. A lot faster then using and remembering a few dozen keybinds.

I have a 7 button mouse, I do the same. It still seems rather clunky, don't you think? As mentioned, I don't seem to have ANY of my survival cooldowns bound, nor Pommel Strike or Ravage, so I'm having to click for those. Luckily I hit 32 and now have Sweeping Strikes, so that will eliminate one of my moves entirely.
