Errors During Registration, New Thread, New Reply

It's come to my attention that an SQL error is being found during the registration process. I've done a few tests myself, and noticed a white screen after registering (instead of reloading the forums homepage) as well as a lack of verification email. I'm currently investigating this issue, and will be sending out an email to all users who have been effected by this.

This error is also happening when trying to create new threads, or creating new replies. For lack of better terms, the forums are pretty much broken

I'll keep this thread updated as any new information is passed.

Ok, vBulletin support staff suggests this is another error within hosting. I've sent a ticket and considering my past years with the company, I can assure everyone this issue will be resolved within the next 1-2 hours (if it is, indeed, an issue with the server).

eep, hope it gets fixed! I just tried to send out some PMs and when I send, I'm getting a blank white screen.

Hmm, maybe it's just my computer. I got a blank screen a few minutes ago and just had to refresh it.

I was getting that earlier when I was posting, so I was having to hit back, then loading a different page to see if it went through (which it always did).

My host has increased my MySQL load wait time, so these errors shouldn't happen anymore. The reason behind the problems, which after I look through my logs I can see why, was I was having too many concurrent sql queries, causing the sql server to slow down to the point of timeouts. During the times this morning where we were having the most problems, I had about 50 users within a 2 hour time frame trying to register (mostly spam bots which stopped at the captcha like a brick wall). I get this on a rather regular basis (as do all sites), but they really seem to hit hard during those times. I plan on moving to a VPS over the summer, but for right now, what they've done should make sure this doesn't happen anymore (on an extreme level).

That's a lot of techincal mumbo jumbo. Is it working now? I haven't had any problems posting, but I suppose I'll send you a PM and see if I have a problem with that.
