Thread: Issues with 404 (page not found) errors.

I have been experiencing some serious problems today (as I'm sure some of you have as well) with the site redirecting to some strange randomly generated 5 character subdirectory that obviously doesn't exist. I've done everything from asking Rayden if he did something I wasn't aware of to scouring my server to see what's going on.

After contacting my host, I found out that they were working on a new security feature on my server. They will be disabling it shortly, so please bare with me.

As an update, my hosting provider has gotten back with me, and assured the problems should be solved. If anyone else is experiencing any issues, feel free to let me know and I will address the situation.

I have honestly not experienced any of those types of problems. Is it possible that the problem was just on your end? Or did I just miss it?

Judging by activity logs, I would say that most of our registered users missed it. This was an issue that started around 8PM EST last night, and was resolved completely at around 4AM EST this morning.

I'm away for 2 days and you break the server. GG!

I was just going to ask you guys about it when I saw your thread. I've been getting blank pages when I click to view some of the posts. It seems to be working now, though...

That was actually due to some unforeseen issues with vBSEO, which I had installed today. I apologize for any browsing issues, but it should be all over now.
