Thread: PAID - JediTank.com Staff Position - Writers / Game Strategist

What we are looking for:
JediTank.com will be hiring five(5) writers from now until the release of the game in preparation for the titles launch. What we are looking for are well-spoken, enthusiastic and above all ambitious writers who share the same passions we do in achieving nothing short of greatness.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must be ambitious. This job's payment plan is performance based, so you can't expect much if you don't give much.
• Applicants must be able to write legibly in the English language as well as use proper use of punctuation and grammer.
• Applicants must have reasonable communication skills. If a staff member needs to address you with anything, we have to know we will get a response in a timely manner.
• Applicants should have passion for the subject matter they are writing in, as well as good organizational skills for what they are writing. For this assignment, you will need to at least be interested in buying and playing Star Wars: The Old Republic after it is released, and for writers prior to release, should be able to gather research and correspondence appropriately.
• Applicants should be able to provide either previously published articles or documents, or be able to supply some sort of examples to demonstrate their writing and journalistic skills

Writer's Guidelines:
Official writer's for JediTank.com will be expected to represent our image, therefor your behavior would be monitored as if you were a fully pledged member of our moderating staff. This will be prevalent of all posts made on JediTank's forums, articles and normal posts alike.

Writer's Benefits and Compensation Plan:
Items of which you wish to be paid for must be submitted to jd-inflames for judgement. After all requested revisions are completed, you will be paid 15 cents per word plus 25 cents per screenshot (if you are in the beta, or if after the game is completed). All payments will be paid via PayPal so an account will be required. At this time, all articles will have a 500 word MAXIMUM to prevent us from going over budget. The budget for paid writers will be increasing exponentially around the time the game is released.

Writers employed this way will be official members of this forums staff, granting access to most private forums and enabling them to participate in the forums growth and development plans. Also, writers will have a good opportunity to showcase themselves and have increased chances of being propositioned with other positions within JediTank staff, including other possible paid positions.
