Thread: Juggernaut is the life for me!

So after the latest QA, it was confirmed that only a small amount of flashpoints will be faction specific, with the majority if not all of the end game content will be both the Sith and the Republic fighting a common enemy more threatening than the both of them. If you look at it in a lore standpoint, Republic fight the Sith, and the Sith not only fight the Republic but other Sith as well, in an effort to climb ranks and become the Emperor. So it's doable, which is exciting.

With that conformation, I've quickly swayed my decision back to the Sith Warrior, which is the where most of my information will be coming from prior to game release. That's not saying I won't be hunting down information exclusive to the Republic, just saying that is the path that I will be going down.

I'll also be creating the JediTank official guild as a Sith based guild, obviously. I'll be posting more details about this on a much later date, as to not get the topic too far...off topic.

So in being on the side of evil, I have my options of being either a Warrior or a BH. While I'm not really into trying out ranged tanking from the start (while it does intrigue me), I'll be sticking with the route of the traditional tanking role. Look forward to seeing videos of me tearing through the Jedi on my initial character

I can't make any decision before I actually tried each of the different classes. Hopefully I get into beta at some point, so I can make a choice before launch.

Didn't they say something about an open beta shortly before launch? Or is that wishful thinking...

Either way be careful, there's a lot of scams going around nowadays with fake beta invitations.

It's not wishful thinking JD...you know they have to have an open beta to test the strength of the servers and to get a good idea how polished the game is with lots of peeps playing.

I would like to be a part of the beta process too, just to figure out how to play the game and get ready for launch. I think I am pretty much sold on the Consular but I would like the opportunity to sample the other classes if in fact there is only 1 toon per server like SWG was, ya dig?

I'd like to get in on some beta as well, if anything to see if it will run on my laptop. While I'm not afraid of it running on my PC (which is beyond a powerful rig), I'm anticipating on having the game installed on both machines for one purpose or the other.

Then again, most beta's haven't incorporated all of the low end graphics either....but it will still be a good indication.
